The 5 phasesThe SEAN process phases provide guidance to participants in organising the process of applying the ten SEAN steps. There are a number of principles guiding the application of these process phases. The main objectives of each phase and the relationships with the analytical steps are clarified in the figure below.
For more information about each SEAN process phase, click on the phase on the top of this page. It gives the objectives, main activities, timing, participants and expected outputs for each phase. In some cases it can be sufficient to undertake a quick scan, using the SEAN light approach. This would basically be one workshop, similar to the scoping workshop highlighted above. |
